About Dan
That foundation began in military intelligence: understand how people think, anticipate what they may do next, and translate complex inputs into action. I carried the same discipline into consulting, commercial diligence, customer experience, and enterprise strategy.
Today, I work with investors, executives, founders, and operating teams to understand the people at the center of a business—customers, employees, competitors, and leaders—and turn that evidence into a clear path forward. Capoccia & Co is based in Princeton, New Jersey, and serves clients locally and nationwide.

Led or supported 18+ private-equity commercial diligences, translating customer and market evidence into investment decisions, alongside growth, customer experience, operating-model, and transformation work.
Captain · Military Intelligence
Led brigade and battalion intelligence assessments and analyst teams as an Intelligence Officer (S-2) and Intelligence Coordinator. While deployed, served as Regional Command Current Operations Battle Captain, turning fast-moving inputs into actionable intelligence for senior leaders.
